Tonight am going for a girls night to see Breakfast at Tiffany's at the Melbourne Moonlight Cinemas. The "moonlight" doesn't come out here until about nine, so I expect I'll need a few vinos to keep me warm in this crazy weather! I have never watched the whole movie all the way through (I know, I know... but don't make that face at me young lady!) so I am really looking forward to it.

i'm here

Here he is - Spike Jonze - proving once again that he can make magic in any format. The 35-minute short film featured at the The 2010 Sundance Film Festival on the weekend, and I am dying to see it. It was funded by Absolut vodka, but apparently there's no sign of them at all in the film. Thank god for that.

Last night I saw Laura Marling at the Corner Hotel, Richmond. My first Melbourne gig, and she was gorgeous. Cute as a button. She didn't play New Romantic, and I was really bummed when I got there and realised my camera battery was dead, so thanks so much to Lachlan Slade for sending me these photos! Champion :)

Today I was told I am "fucking fantastic". Funny how sometimes profanities make you smile and sound so lovely. I'd like to say the same to Jenn - her flickr site atomic turquoise is just that. Fucking fantastic.
