Yesterday I took some product shots for the new X-Mas card range by We Are Messengers.

Not a big fan of this new bar's name... but what's in a name? A lychee martini by any other name would still taste as sweet. I love this place because it hasn't been over-hyped, you would hardly know it was there. But trust your freinds when they tell you - it's great. Definitely my kind of place.
Alarna from Little Jane St has her gorgeous cards and magnets (above) for sale at one of my local coffee spots - the Birds Nest Coffee and Collectables. It's a cute little hole in the wall that I recommend you visit. Maybe next time you are at GOMA, go for a wander just around the corner - Shop 2, 44 Montague Rd, South Brisbane - next to The Joint.

I was melting into a big pile of uninspired microsoft mush when Amy form Grey Grid Paper revived me – reminding me of the wonderful Casiotone for the Painfully Alone. Can't say I am painfully alone. Not at all really, but now I am inspired again. Cheers Amy!
I am reading Wonderful Today, the Autobiography of Pattie Boyd - photographer, former model, and rock-and-roll muse. These photos are of Pattie and her first husband George Harrison (#2 by Henry Grossman).

We Are Messengers are makers of handcrafted greeting cards and other stationery goods, all of which are individually screen printed and environmentally friendly.

I'm doing a 6am photo-shoot tomorrow with a guy - DJ. He needs some updated shots for his modeling portfolio and it's one of the first male model-shoots I've done. So I thought I'd stay up and get some inspiration on how to create a stylish & intriguing shoot for DJ. Wish me luck... I'll post them over the weekend.
My melbourne polaroid post inspired the lovely Amy of grey grid paper blog to post some of her own melbourne photos. So cute! I especially love the one of 'Lance' and the babushka dolls!!! We are both flying down to our "happy place" next week and I'm sure we will have more photos to share on our return back to Brisnayland.
