Dylan Reyes

Dylan Reyes - a fashion photography from Nashville started shooting around the age of 15 when he was in India with his father, and started documenting an orphanage. He noticed that he came back with some powerful images and felt that he was naturally attached to the art of photography. (via Ben Trovato)

exploding flowers

Exploding Flowers by curious photographer Qi Wei who, one day, came across Todd McLellan's Disassembly series. It got him thinking.
"Todd McLellan's Disassembly shows a wonderful different viewpoint of man-made objects which inspired me to think if it could be applied to the natural world. Of course, the incredibly ordered world of flowers lend itself to this technique wonderfully. My layout is slightly different in that I try to show (as far as possible) the relative positions of the petals, stamens and pistils with each other so that the radial symmetry is preserved and the flower is recognizable, but only just so."

No, it's not a dyslexic-typo (although I am very prone to them). It is 'Fowlers Flowers'  in Clifton Hill where you will find jars and buckets full of possies. Owner Lauren Bieber also has the cafe Mixed Business next door. Tired or un-sold flowers spend their last days there. These photos from their website are so darling.
