Hotel Fox, Copenhagen. 61 rooms designed by 21 different artists and was was initially conceived as part of a marketing strategy for the launch of the VW Fox. The idea was to get young designers and artist to paint some rooms and create a hip urban hotel that would open at the same time as the European launch of the car. _
My favorite room is the Rinzen Sleep Seasons Room. "Hand-painted walls, custom designed carpets, hand-dyed, pieced and appliqued bedspread and curtains. Guests sleep inside a tent (on a comfortable futon) giving an otherworldly outdoor camping experience."
