Behind Photographs

Tim Mantoani's personal project called Behind Photographs.

Mantoani uses a Polaroid 20 x 24 camera to photograph photographers with their most famous images. "These masters are famous for holding cameras, but are not used to standing in front of them" (via) Yan Chan.

Such an interesting concept!

holy cow, this is amazing. to actually have the photographer behind the photograph that they had taken. no one really ever pays attention to who took the picture, all they ever do is look at the content. its great how youre showing everyone who is behind the works :]
